Different coloured eyes are often often due to hereditary/genetic reasons but can be a symptom of a disease or injury if developed after birth. The difference in colour is just a difference in the amount of melanin which is the same thing responsible for skin and hair colour, freckles etc. As for the difference in pupil size of the blue eye, not sure. Generally it's thought lighter coloured eyes are more sensitive not less sensitive to light. Different pupil size can be genetic but why heat, I have no idea. If any of this has been a recent change it should be checked out.

I've got to say though, it can look quite cute.

I have no idea, but it sounds cool. I must admit, I'm a little jealous, my eyes are only hazel.
