No president in the history of America has been 100% loved. We are a free country, free to express our likes and dislikes in our government officials. Many are against this war, but we are against the terrorist movements in the east, also.
President Bush is one man, all decisions fall on his head, but he's not the only one making the decisions for our country....there are many advisors. Plus the Congress and their bill-passing or rejecting votes. Remember Congress voted 100% to go to war. And each one of them knew the facts before they did.
The problem is, as in the past, History tells us the achievements and the failures of our past legislatures.
The Bible tells us to support our leaders. But God is still in control!

He's excellent, as far as entertainment value goes! I guess most people probably think he sucks, but they have to work two jobs to support their families and probably didnt make it to the polls. Theres a huge misconception that all americans are well off. I dont live there anymore, i emigrated to n. ireland, and i have to say people here in the uk have it SO easy. You have no real poverty, thanx to mr blair, who i also quite like. Jobseekers allowance, carers allowance, tax credits, child benefit, disability living allowance, housing benefit, holy crap you people get alot of free money! Its no wonder so many people refuse to work. Theyre better off. I know people who dont work who have more money than my husband and i and we both work, to support four kids. This wouldnt be possible in america though. Most people barely qualify for the working class, its a dejected and depressed population, who generally didnt care about politics, until it was too late and we got a really shitty president. Our system lets us down. We have a two-party system, so we can only choose from two guys, basically. And then we have the electoral college, which i wont go into here but you can email me if you really wanna understand. Its a very sad and misguided world altogether these days, and mr bush is the scapegoat of it all, but hardly really at fault. I mean, hes not smart enough to blame, is he?

The answer is yes and no . Some people believe that he is a great president ,honest , with high moral standards, and is helping protect freedom in America and spreading our values throughout the world.Others believe he is a brain damaged alcoholic puppet who is being used by brighter men an women(such as Dick Cheney and Karl Rove) to further their Conservative agenda. While others believe he is really a evil minded man interested in using peoples fear of terrorism to increase the power of the presidency . A few believe he is really doing the work of God.

He used to be well liked, but since this Iraq thing last so long, a lot of people has grown to resent him. It is kind of tough, because of all the policies that he made, such as spying on people etc...it is hard to love a guy like that...and plus he said it himself, he is a war president...D

The opinion polls say about 30% for 60% against.
Its about the same for Blair.
Iraq/ Afghanistan/Balkans has ruined their place in political history and they both know it.

he is. some, even young, americans go crazy if you start talking about the hot, and obviously interesting topic, american politics. even if you starting off the conversation at a very modest point. they really do BELIEVE the crap bush is spreading over america, using all the cheap easy-to-read tabloid media.
they think he did a great job, in iraq & afghanistan. the more intellectual ones dislike him completely, but as normal, the dull mass overrules (see any country)

I like him a lot and I'm sorry he has to leave in two years but it's become a matter of safety. If he didn't leave at the end of his second term, all the liberals' heads would explode and the shrapnel would endanger many innocent lives.
