I am a very shy person, we just got this new kid in school, and I really like him and I really want to become friends with him, but im too nervous to talk to him.
what should I do?

start first by speaking to him, find ways to share something with him, watch him and find out what his likes and dislikes are than start the ball rolling.

Well, I'm not a very shy person but I'll try my best! Maybe do a little reserch on him and see what hes into, Invite him to join your group at school, or If he catches your bus or something (if you do catch the bus lol) sit near him. Just sorta let him know your there and maybe he could make the first move and talk to you?!
Or as someone else suggested, put a note on his locker or something?!

Looking at your question I thought,in the seconds it took to load as I clicked the question, "Find another boy as shy as you are and it might be easier."
Perfect,he's a new kid! He'd be trying to make new friends,what's the worst that could happen if you talked to him?
Sorry it's not a very detailed answer,I've been in your position,but as the new kid,and it sounds like this probably won't end badly unless you do nothing.

Well if he is new, he really wont know your exact personality, so dont be afraid to talk to him, maybe you should try to talk to him when you are with your friends.

girl dont be shy... be urself around him!! if he doesnt like ur actually perosnility then he isnt worth it... but dont worry i am really shy to! just be friends with him dont worry about what he thinks!! i mean of course he will like ur personility!
