Ideally on the pest side and close to the city centre...i dont wanna have to catch cabs to get into town.

Can you recommend any if youve been there before...

If i wanted the best, id just go check in at any 5* or the hilton, im after something centrally located, in the city...where i dont have to go on missions just to go into town for the evening..blah blah...u know what i mean... last time i did a short trip and booked a hotel , ended up staying about 20km from the city centre....which meant had to catch a cab or transport just to go into town....long or what!!!

If you want an amazing stay, go for the Four Seasons Gresham Palace. The amazing art deco hotel is right at the foot of the chain bridge, looking onto the castle on the Buda side.

Otherwise, Accor Hotels have the customary quality and a nice selection:

I stayed in the Marriott which was nice, good value and right in the middle of Pest with Fab views
