Would you like some platitudes? You don't strike me as being the type who would be inspired by platitudes. So I won't provide any. I'll just say...that yep, I'm okay...if for no other reason than it's Thursday. And sometimes having pity party is the best thing you can do to cheer yourself up. So wallow in it for a while, enjoy it...but just don't let it go on too long, or you'll need supervised medication.

I'm not to bad tonight.
But sometimes life really sucks, if you want to throw yourself a pity party, go ahead and do it, it can help sometimes as long as you don't let it go on for to long.....
All feeling are important, you can't be happy all the time, you can set a time frame and allow yourself to have your pity party for say an hour or so, then you have to get up and do something nice for yourself, have a hot bath or shower and start a fresh.
hope things pick up for you ....

Life, in general, is very, very good. I have a wonderful husband and amazing daughter and a safe place to rest my head at night.
Right now, though, I'm hurting like crazy and more than a bit nervous.. I had surgery two days ago and I'm on my own with the baby today. I wish the pain would stop.

i'm doing well, thank you. the best way to ruin a pity party is to invite someone to join you. run a hot bath, get a bowl if ice cream, plug in a feel good flick and soak. hope you feel better

I'm kind in the same situation with my husband. If you want I'll bake the cake and blow up the balloons, you bring the music.
