i would go to your G.P,or go to the hospital, just to be on the safe side,it maybe the baby is just lazy.
iv got 4 kids, when i was 20wks pregnant with my last child i didnt feel any movement for a while,so i went to hospital, they could not find any heart beat,so they prepared me for the worst,i was gutted as you can imagine,so i had a scan luckily every thing turned out ok,it turned out he was just being lazy, they told me if i dont feel any movement to drink ice cold water,it get the baby moving, but definatly get yourself checked out.

Hi Lisa

Don't worry! I am 29 weeks pregnant now, and it has only been since about wk 26 or 27 that it has really started to boot me! I was getting worried at wk 24 as I had the same worries, feeling flutters but not much more. Give it another couple of weeks - it will be keeping you awake and kicking you like mad before you know it! As long as you are feeling something every day, then all is good!

The anterior placenta will be cushioning the baby's kicks as it's lying facing downwards (ie it's parallel to your abdomonal muscles) so you're not likely to feel a lot unless baby gives a really good hard kick in the right place. You will find however that as baby gets bigger and stronger that you'll feel a lot more.

aslong as you are feleing some movment then you shouldnot have anything to worry about the basic rule you should be told my your midwife or doctor is if you do nto feel any movement with in a 24 hour time frame then you should get checked usually by goign to the maternity ward at your hospital if you are still concerned call your midwife hope this helps good luck

Is this your first?

Half way through my first pregnancy I hadn't really felt anything. The second one was different, but I guess I knew what it felt like second time around.

Early movements by the baby feel a bit like wind really, lol.

Thats perfectly normal and it wont be long til you will be begging that child to just please, go to sleep! They have this way of getting their feet up under your ribs and STRETCHING and it used to make me nuts. The best times are when you see the clear imprint of a hand or a foot as they stretch out on your belly. Try not to worry too much, things sound as if they are going along the way they should be :))

It could be simply that you're carrying a lot of water and its dampening the feeling. If you are very concerned speak to your midwife but try not to worry too much. we're all different.

It sounds like this is your first pregnancy and often it takes longer to feel movement with your first.

What you are describing sounds within the normal so please do not worry. Soon enough you will be feeling your baby doing double flips!
