Is it that I just think so because most of them are Irish or Scandinavian, which is my own heritage? Or because I like the sound of the names? Or is it because they really are attractive?

Haha... It's probably just a coincidence my dear. You associate these names with attractive women you have met, hence the next time you see a woman of the same name/s, you kind of become biased and your subconcious mind plays tricks on you.

They are names of the 50's/60's and not popular names for this generation.. along with Kathy, Debbie and Susan.
I am a Karen, and of Italian descent. Attractive? (well, my husband thinks so!) I pretty much look like my Avatar - plus a few years. :)

You must have a few gray hairs, just like me. Those aren't popular names any more, but you are right.
Now, the girls are all given names which used to be men's names..... Taylor, Sidney,Ashley, or some name that their parents invented.
