go for Nokia 6030....its an excellent fone...i own it for past one year and m fully satisfied....it has got excellent radio....even though the speaker is not that good....at present it will cost u Rs 3900 exactly...

With a Good FM with Rs. 5000 only then go for the Sony Ericsson that is the best and many option r there with a good FM.
There is a option in Nokia also but within 5,000 only u don't get the good FM in Nokia. So, i prefer u to go for a Sony ericsson. Before purchasing view the ph models on net also. So that help u to take the decision

Before buying anything else try this one out -- Samsung X630. It has an excellent quality VGA camera, FM, MP3 player, Bluetooth and 28 MB memory. It also has excellent sterophonic sound for both FM and Mp3. It costs Rs.6600 in Delhi. But this extra 1500 is worth spending. I had checked all the models mentioned buy users. Initially I wanted to buy Nokia 3230 that was costing 9500. But I ended up buying this X630 which is a better phone with much leser price.

Nokia has 6030 and 6070. Even though 6070 is slightly higher than 5000 you get a camera, bigger screen and IR.Sony Ericsson has J230i at only Rs. 3300/- which is a good low end phone with FM. Motoroal has C168 which will cost you only 2400

go to Nokia 6030 or Nokia 2300 the both are the best lowest price and fm set

I bought SonyEricsson J230i before a week for just Rs.3350 with tax.
Definitely it will more worth for your money.
Features:
It has Stereo Effect FM(very nice to listen music).
It has 65k colour display.
It can connect to internet through WAP.
It supports MMS,Polyphonic ringtones(nice to hear).
It has attached head phones to listen FM.
It gives nice clarity for images.
But you have no MP3 function in that.I think no one give MP3 function under 6k or 7K.
I prefer Sony for its sound effects and picture clarity. you too love sony when u experienced.But most people said it is not user friendly.But in my point of view it's not a true.You can pursue your mobile if you get convenient with your operations.
So my advice is take sony mobile for delight FM listening and Clarity pictures
