I've only ever had one, and I had to take off my bra, but it was underwired.... I dont know if that's the reason, but i assume so. I didn't have to remove my t shirt though. I would wear a loose fitting t shirt and non underwired bra.

I suspect that you'll have to remove a bra that has an underwire. The metal catches will show up on the x-ray, distorting and blocking the image on the developed photo.

If the x-ray is of your shoulder, then your doctor may ask you to remove your bra, even if it isn't an underwire, because the clasps that are used to adjust it are made up of plastic, and can sometimes interfear with the x-ray image.

If it has wire somewhere in the bra they may suggest you to pull the bra down or even take it off but you can keep your gown on.

Not a girlie but bottom line is that they need your consent (permission) before they can make you do anything.
No one can make you do anything that you don't want to. Not even Doctors and X-Ray technicians.
End of story.
(PS. Xrays can pass through gowns so they can xray you in a gown.)

i had xray on my shoulder three years ago. i left my bra on. I am sure it will be ok. Good luck
