I would want to die in the quickest way possible, while still becoming a zombie.
The process of zombification takes roughly 24 hours. If you die within five hours of being bitten, you will not reanimate. However, if you die in anyway (that leaves the brain intact) after five hours, reanimation will still take place.
So, I would want to be bitten, wait 5 1/2 hours, have someone kill me (while leaving the brain intact), wait for my body to die and become cold, (zombies are much less likely to eat dead flesh. I'd like to keep my body after death) chuck me outside, and later stand up as one of the living dead. Fun.

Yes. In fact I think that is exactly the way I want to die. If I cant be killed in a zombie attack I think I'll just have to live forever!

OMG!!! The total awesomeness of this question! I would totally die after tearing the arm off a zombie and beating as many other zombies with it as I could, until my best friend, the godfather of my (soon to be zombie) daughter, comes up behind me, a zombie now himself. He touches my shoulder and I think he's asking for help, so I spin around to defend him from other zombies, but instead he attacks, sinking his gory zombie teeth (with braces) into my shoulder. I beat him off with the other zombie's arm stump, and continue beating zombies for as long as I can, but the zombie poison from his bite slowly makes its way through my blood to my heart, and I turn into a zombie myself. The music playing in the background is TOTALLY a guitar solo from the '80s. Maybe by Poison or Extreme. (Does your soul go to heaven when you turn into a zombie, or when your zombie body dies? Dawn of the Dead was short on theological answers.)

Break into the executive office, find the stash of booze, drink and laugh with my friends, say and do all the things I hadn't or shouldn't and hopefully go out with a blaze of drunk'n glory with my best friends by my side.

By detonating a suicidal nuclear weapon. If a nuke wasn't around I'd settle for a suicidal fuel air bomb. If not that then maybe a suicidal claymore mine. If not that, then maybe a suicidal Clay Aiken song.
