To the extent I know, genetic cells are different from blood cells. One inherits parents’ sex cells and DNA either xy or xx for male or female sex or is it other way round. If I remember one is all female that is xx before y appears in the firs 4 weeks of pregnancy roughly. Sensing the presence of y the related male organs start developing, otherwise the female remains to grow as it is. And whole of the genetic information latent or patent from his parents’ grandparents’ great-grandparents to the original man and woman and if one believes to the amoeba.
Suppose somebody says he acquired father's blood or mother's blood it only speaks the most dominant feature of either parent but in the long run and in wider perspective one is unique with a little of bit of this and that from his ancestry and on the basis of which acquires learned characters and behavior in the given environment and support of family and school to become what he has to become as per his or her destiny. All the best. I know no specific sites. Try google. Don’t depend on me. or if you are lucky get next answer or the ones before.

I never heard of that, I think you can either inherit your mothers blood type or your fathers blood type.

The term is used when comparing you to your father.... It has nothing to do with real blood... You have his characteristics, temper, hairline, smile etc

No, this is wrong. The child's bone marrow, even at the begining of his/ her life when in his/her mother's womb, makes his/her own blood.
