I think it is as real as they are taking your money. I know they take your money. I don't know that you really get a star with a name..........

People will do anything for money. Since you won't ever go to the star, why not just claim one as your own privately, no money spent, name it and who will know the difference?

You don't buy the star just the naming right! it is legitimate as long as you use a reputably company like the one below!

Are you ever gonna get to visit that star? and how are you gonna tell "your" star from everone elses named star? i bet theres stars out there with loads of different names right now....dont waste your money.

if you buy from a legitimate astronomical agency i don't see why it wouldn't be..
