Why do we only have 'bank holidays' on christian holidays?
If we really do live in a multicultural world why aren't other religious days celebrated in the same way?

Obviously not all of the 'days' could be celebrated, but why not have say, 3 for each religion?
I'm only guessing coz i don't really know how many different religions celebrate each.

They be so many bank holidays that we wont be working
best part of 6 month ..wouldn't it be great..on a serious note ..multicultural Britain is only in words ..not in practise
each ethnic group celebrate their own holidays..that is how we are multicultural Britain
Can you imagine people celebrating there Independence
day from British Imperialist's ..Ha ha ha ha ha ha ..i can see the English out in the streets partying with those people....

Because we do not live in a multicultural Britain, neither do most people want to. Most people who grow up here, or immigrate, want to live the British western way, and do so perfectly hapilly. Multiculturism is just another buzzword pumped out by this useless, depthless government.

Cos we have so many cultures in this country if we had all the days off then no work would be done.

I don't know multicultural countries. That is only phrase. Maybe Bosnia is multicultural.

For the same reason that they do not celebrate our religous days.
No one is stopping anyone from any culture from celebrating their holy days or holidays, but if we did them for everyone we would never work.
Stop being overly PC its dangerous.
