Good question. I know the type of thing. I've done them before but they've always been organised by me or my friends rather than by a professional group. A good place to start would be to talk to the people at Eastwell Manor...

...if you're not sure what or where Eastwell Manor is, its a beautiful old country hotel inbetween Canterbury and Ashford. They usually host weddings and posh clientele. Quite a celebrities such as Vic Reeves have been wed there. Anyway, I know that they have a very good murder mystery weekend there every few months that is organised by an outside group of actors. Its the perfect location for such things.

Now what I'm thinking is that the staff there are very friendly and helpful and the event coordinator may be able to help you out with the phone number of the company that organise the murder mystery weekends. 50 guests is a considerable number, so I'm sure whoever the company is will be interested in coming to you.

Contact eastwell manor here:

01233 213000 , or:

I hope that helps you in some way - I know its not a direct link to a murder mystery company, but its a good start!

Good luck with it!
