Throughout my pregnancy (and already during this one), the only way I was comfortable was to sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees. It's always my right side but they suggest sleeping on your right side because it's better for your circulation.

Congratulations firstly,
One of the most importnt things you can do during pregnancy is to get plenty of rest. While taking an afternoon nap may not be realistic if your at work, try to go to bed and hour earlier and take naps when possible. Aim for at leasted eight hours sleep everynight.
Pressure on your bladder and overheating are common causes of pregnancy sleepleness and you may also find it more difficulr to find a confortable sleeping position as your belly gets bigger.
Avoid lying on your back as the weight of the baby can put pressure on major blood vessels running up your back, which can cause your blood pressure to drop and can also aggravate haemorrhoids. Instead, try sleeping on your left side with a pillow between your legs and/ or under your bump.

I've had 3 kids and the best way i found was on my side but everyone is different sleep how ever you like as long as it doesn't harm the baby in anyway sleeping on Ur front is not recommended also depends on the size of your bump but good luck and i hope you get a good nights sleep

Sleep on your side. It might also help you to put a pillow between your knees and a pillow up around your belly to help prop you up and rest your belly against. I always needed 3-4 pillows during pregnancy, just for comfort. You might also want one behind you, if you are a back sleeper. I cannot remember which side is best, but side is best for baby.

sleeping on your right side with a pillow between your knees. I body pillow as they call them works wonders because it can also support up by your thighs and hip as well and you won't have as much hip or lower back pain when you wake up.
The right side is best for circulation, but if your not comfortable on your right side sleep on the left. It's about your comfort.

Sleep on your side, with a pillow under your belly, supporting it. This takes pressure off of your back, and supports the belly.

the best posture for a pregnant lady is to sleep on the sides.and when u want to flip sides u shouldnt have to turn around jus like we do sleep on normal days.instead u have to get up and turn and sleep on the other side.sleeping on sides help the baby to be in the best position of the tummy.its gud for u and the baby when u dint sleep facing the ceiling u have to avoid it .gud luck to-be-mom.god bless u.

You're suppose to sleep on your left side. I would prop my whole body up with pillows and a pillow between my knees.

My doctor was adamant that I slept on my left side only. He told my husband to roll me over if I went on my back or right side! My hips hurt really bad like that, but I did what he said.
