my drivers license from tennessee is expiret a year ago moved to ramstein afb germany took the test for the military drivers license now i´m getting a divorce staying in germany and trying to get my military license changed switched to a german license

I only know from my brother who was in the USAF in Ramstein, married a German girl, and finished his enlistment in the USAF and works as a civilian contractor in Germany, that he had to get all his military records translated, his stateside license translated, and although he didn't have to take the actual drivers test, he still had to go to a driving school (theory) and then take the written test to get a EU Drivers License.
