Hi,

As the above answers mentioned you can buy fertility sticks, but they are expensive and there are other methods to help you learn when you are ovulating.

Check out the website www.fertilityfriend.com

Part of this site is for paid users, but there is a free part where you can learn what signs to be looking/testing for and you can enter them into a daily chart that will automatically tell you when you're ovulating by the data you have entered.

Good luck.. 7 months might seem like a long time to be trying, but it's not! There is a only a small window in the cycle where you can acheive pregnancy and it is hard when you're not regular.. hopefully this site will give you more indication of when to be doing the deed!

Take your temperature first thing in the morning before getting out of bed when your temperature is high its ovulation time. And chart your temp too so that you know when tour at your peak. Oh and apparently your mucus (down stairs) gets thicker but you will have to examine this yourself.

You can get ovulation tests from Boots, exactly same as pregnancy tests. Pee on the stick and it will tell you if you are ovulating.

a good, accurate (internal) thermometer and a diary of daily readings.
your temp should peak when you are ovulating
