My classmate, a racist Chinese against other races like Malays, Arabs and Indians has been annoying me.

He seem to make fun of other races languages and the people. And saying Chinese is the best among the other races.

What do i do to him now?

i believe that he's still young and is still immature in his ways.

All you can do is nothing but just listen to his way of making fun of other races. Even if you try to reprimand him, that won't make him stop and will lead into fights. Now our MM Lee wont like it that way. Don't you? I believe in his family, they're doing the same thing.

Eventually he will grow up and when he mixed with a lot of people when he's working. He will sober down and will understand what he's doing is not right.

Its a part of growing up and realising one's mistakes along the way will make in mature in thinking and broaden his understanding.

You're describing a former classmate I used to know at school a long time ago.
She was of Punjab descent and it was a tortured experience having to listen to her random racist remarks.
The irony of it, she rants on something she wasn't even a part of!
Truth be told, she didn't even exist.
Allow me to elaborate; just as there're days of infamy i.e. the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor, Sept. 11, 2001, etc... we (M'sians) had May 13, 1969 the racial riot which involved a clash of the races Chinese/ Malays.
I find it disrespectful to pass comments on something of a racist nature but what's worse to talk on something you're not even informed of. Foolish? Absolutely.
What did I do? Play a deaf ear.
Better yet ignore them altogether. Why stoop to their level? Giving them the satisfaction of listening to their crap?
Move on, you'll lead a fuller life.

If he hates Malays, etc. so much, what is he doing in Malaysia? Tell him to go back to China if he thinks Chinese are the best...

My advise is to ignore him.

He will learn when he grows up. Especially when he does his national service. Singapore is a society that bases itself on merits and not race. All race are equal.

I sincerely hope you are not harbouring any intentions of spreading racist sentiments about Singapore by posting this question, just like the previous questions you have posted.

Cheers...

he just need some cheap attention and somebody to fight with him.

next time when he says that, just glance at him, say:'' oh, is it? so?'' then continue doing what you are doing and say nothing more.

he will just shut up if nobody pay attention to him.

Ahh but if you live in Malaysia, you don't have to worry about him. The Malaysian government protects the Malay rights don't they. I heard if you are born Malay, you don't even have to know how to read and write and you can go to the University. Such is life...isn't that wonderful

No need to do anything to him. Just avoid him.

When he matures, he will see that his views are wrong. If he does not then it is his loss.
