I really think that parents need to stop worrying about if there child will or will not be smart, and just love them for who they are. Smart or not. No smart parents do not mean smart children.
Theres way more important things to worry about, like teaching your child to be a good person, then worrying about if they get a PHD or Bachelors Degree.

No, because the brain cells are not developed enough to be receptive to language, i.e. the embryo has not got the wherewithal for word recognition and conceptual thought. However it responds to sensations, and moods. A serene mother will give birth to a contented child. Also it responds to sounds and music, which does not necessarily will make the unborn child musical but soothing music that pleases the mother has a knock on effect on the baby's well being.

Actually, that's not so far-fetched as you might think. For one thing, it's a lovely thing for you to be doing, and so you are in a good mood, calm and thinking good things about your baby. That's good for the baby, as well as for you.
Secondly, the child can hear to some extent, although I'm sure sound is muffled. But the sound of your voice as you read aloud will be a part of earliest memory, and should lead to more attention and appreciation of that sound once the child is born. There is a difference in the cadence of speech when reading aloud as opposed to just talking. That difference will be imprinted, and the sound of you reading aloud marked with the safe and secure place; a good, warm feeling.
Of course, reading aloud to him or her after birth is also very important, and grows more important the older the child gets. My grandmother used to hold me on her lap so I could see the pictures and turn the pages for her as she read to me. I cannot remember not being able to read. I learned just by knowing when it was time to turn the page. I learned organically, if you will.

It may not make it smarter there has been no testing on this as far as I am aware, but it sounds like a good thing to do, the baby will recognise your voice that much easier when it is born and you'll have a head start on bonding. I listened to a lot of classical music when I was pregnant (i'm not that fussed on it personally) my son is now two and loves classical music.

I would say it's a great thing to do. First you will become more knowledgeable. The later is there's no harm reading to the unborn. If plants can grow nicer listening to nice music, your baby could be smarter

Well, they do say that babies can recognise their parents voices from when they were in the womb - not sure, but certainly cant hurt and would be a really relaxing thing for you to do. Playing music to the bump is meant to be good too.

the place you're making your mistake is contained in the assessment of the two. in case you observed a guy status over a crib approximately to stab the toddler, of direction you may shoot him in case you had a gun. he's a guy purposely committing homicide. rushing into an abortion sanatorium with a knife waiting to stab the abortionists isn't the comparable. i anticipate that contained in the eyes of the persons working contained in the sanatorium, they do no longer think of of what they're doing as homicide. I additionally anticipate that the mummy having the abortion would not think of of the unborn infant as a very person possessing each and all the human rights and subsequently she would not see herself as committing homicide. How approximately in case you're making this assessment as a replace. a individual solutions her door and the united statesguy is there with a huge crate. She is informed that contained in the crate is a muddle of kittens which would be her accountability to shelter. If she accepts delivery, she is familiar with she would have her hands complete feeding, taking good care of, and getting vet shelter those kittens. in line with risk her residence would not enable pets. in line with risk her activity retains her away and she or he will't shelter them. She would would desire to locate a house for them and she or he has a hard option to make: settle for the delivery and all that is going alongside with it, or reject the delivery of the kit meaning the kittens will pass to the pound and be destroyed. it truly is an agonizing decision for her, because of the fact she cares for animals yet she feels she has no selection. What she would not understand is that the mewing she hears is definitely a human infant. She would not need to be murdered for rejecting delivery. She needs to be knowledgeable, no longer killed. as quickly as she is familiar with the existence contained in the crate is totally human, i'm hoping her instinct could be to shop the youngster. Your justification isn't something extra effective than homicide itself. by potential of ways, your very final paragraph is mindless and has no longer something in besides to do along with your argument. Believers and non-believers alike fall on the two aspects of the argument. people who fee the sanctity of existence do no longer devote homicide to shop a existence. And that "invisible and silent deity" you communicate of is the only welcoming those infants into His homestead and drying their tears.

I dont think it makes baby smarter but what it can do is make baby calmer. Because baby can hear the soothing tones of your voice, once born he/she will instantly recognise your voice which can calm him/her instantly.
