...by saying that she's your wife...you must be married...when you got married, you agreed to love her and stick to your promise made before God and men...now, look at the bigger picture...LOVE...read 1Corinthians 13 and you'll get a better understanding of love...it is the most excellent way! ...to love, is to accept the other person JUST the way she is without intentions to try and change her to suit your needs...it's easy to love those who love you back, but the challenge is to love those who does not love you...even your enemies...so, to answer your question...because love covers a multitude of sin! Because you married her. Now that you've made your bed, you must lie in it. The only way to teach her to love you is to love her--a lot.
Read the book by Erich Fromme "The Art of Loving" and it will help you cope with this difficult situation.

It is not a question of what she does. It is our heart which gives us the beats and the reason to think that what we feel is love.

if she doesn't love you then you aren't doing your job. men are to initiate, women are to respond. this is the natural order of the way relationships work. show her affection without trying to get sex out of it. romance her. initiate a loving relationship and she will respond in a loving manor. you must love first! be patient with her and don't give up. when you do have sex, look to take care of her needs first then she will take care of yours.

If you married her it was because you loved her for some reason and if things aren't the same now then seek counciling. preferrably christian counciling who practices the biblical ethics to marriage. I will pray for you. God bless and good luck
