Many people still apply negative stereotypes, unfortunately.
I, personally, do not believe in them and I try to meet each individual as their own person. Although, when it is a generic occurence and I am not actually meeting the person, sometimes it is way too easy to apply stereotyping. An example is the stereotypes that we apply to certain driving behaviors. I feel bad about it later, when I am no longer in that situation, but yes, unfortunately I am guilty of it too, sometimes.

No, I don't believe in stereotypes, neither positive nor negative ones. They are always true about a tiny part of each group and untrue about the rest, so I don't assume anything about people, I prefer getting to know them as individuals and not some stereotyped group.

Stereotypes are not a concrete rule, but there is more then something in them.
