I'm tired of trying to make my wife happy. The more considerate I am, the more she seems to act oddly. Any responses are welcome.

You can be TOO considerate, but women are odd creatures. Being one, I can say that with all honesty. Even if you could live to be three thousand years old, women would still be a mystery. Each one wants something different, and sometimes may not even know WHAT it is they want.

Don't ignore her, just pay slightly less attention than normal. "Forget" to hold the door for her, or the unltimate, forget to put the seat down in the middle of the night.

She'll get the idea that you're being considerate because that's who you are, not because you're trying to hide something from her.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

There's no such thing as being 'too considerate' You are either considerate or you're not. You can, however just be crowding her too much by doing everything for her. She should know how you are and shouldn't have married you if that's too much for her. Don't play games as people suggest. Marriage isn't about who wins or loses but you might try to back off a bit and see if she lightens up. I don't know what you mean by oddly but sometimes if we are guilty of something, we get mad when the person we hurt is nice to us. It's wrong but it makes it easier to cope with the fact that we are doing wrong by that person. Could she be having an affair or thinking of one?

You sound like a lovely person, unfortunately some women get bored, try being more assertive with your wife, remember the more you try to make her happy the more she will expect. Be adventurous with her, for instance when she's cooking go behind her, put your arms around her and make love to her, tie her to the bed and give her a mind blowing oral sex session, tell her she's the sexiest woman alive, watch some porn films together, make love to her when you go on a picnic. DON'T always be predictable. I hope things improve for you, sadly if not I would advise you part your ways and find a passionate woman.

You are what you are, that means making other happy. Why should you change because of her. Stay considerate and accept the fact that you married her knowing what she was like. Do you really want a nagging, angry wife who drives you to drink?!!

It is human mentality, When some one gets something very easily, it does not care for its worthiness.
Ignore her for sometimes,,,,,don't give her so much importance. Remain silent most of the time.......hide yourself behind the news paper as if news is more interesting than her.......soon she will notice the change in your behavior and will start appreciating your considerations. Best of luck.

You are never to considerate to your wife. She is your queen. Maybe the consideration you are giving her is not what she needs. In a mature fashion communicate to your wife you concerns and let her know how much you want to please and make her happy. She needs to communicate to you her needs as well. Communication (healthy ) always makes a difference

I know some will not agree with me but' You can't be to good to your wife/ girlfriend. If you do some get it up in there head that they have the man wrapped around there finger. They start to think that you are a pu$-$y and lose respect. Don't get me wrong' Don't be mean to her. Don't be to goody-goody.

Maybe she is not used to having someone being considerate to her, and it weirds her out and she doesn't know how to react. She's your wife, you should know her more than anyone....

talk to her and tell her how bad all this makes you feel. maybe for her she is doing nothing wrong towards you, but it is not like that for you. Tell her that you would lke it if she can be more considerate towards you as well.

Communication! Communication! Communication! Communication!

Women want you to be considerate, but don't lose your backbone over it. Continue to be a man.
