Accepting Bush's argument that he went into Iraq because Saddam had WMD ( Yet none were found)

Will he settle for sanctions against N.Korea? Or will he strike?

After all, he could argue that this time he is right!
Or maybe this time he doesn't fancy taking on a "Big Boy" ?

Iraq wasn't about WMD. That was just a bumper sticker answer for all the sheep to follow. NK doesn't have deploy-able nuke yet it is just saber rattling. I figure the current US sanctions must be working. The concern is the sale of nuclear material to Islam Terrorists (Militants)
NK is China's baby, remember the Korean War?
Bush will let China deal with it's problem child (unless NK gets aggressive with SK). NK Missiles and Nukes were a dud and currently threaten only those with roads to NK.

The real threat is still the Mid east and Islamic Terrorists but now they will be using NK's extra plutonium.

GBW will see his term out still postulating his god given views.
The next incumbent will have to explain his way out and extricate the US coalition from all the conflicts.
The fist action will be to give GWB a pardon for his actions (Nixon, Clinton etc)
Write a book, Lecture tour, open a foundation, go on Larry King live, Join a UN committee on WMD as an adviser.
We just become older and more cynical.

Will he fcuk!!! Ultimately, America is one big bully, picking on countries that they know cannot defend themselves or put up much of a fight... except that he got that wrong didn't he on so many levels in both Iraq and Afghanistan.... how many troops have lost their lives now in two countries that supposedly have no resources? Can you imagine with the amount of troops North Korea have as well as several big fcuk off nuke warheads, the damage that they will inflict on America's forces....

Not even Bush is that much of a fcukwit. Is he?

Personally I never accepted the arguement that the Middle East deployments were about nukes. I have always thought they were about oil.

He might go for sanctions, but I doubt they will work because Kim doesn't care about his people suffering.

I think he's in more than a bit of a quandry and may have to follow China's lead. Great question!

He will make some noises and try to frighten Korea for the public.
In private I think he will be acting the scene in the Charlie Chaplin movie ' The Great Dictator' , you know , where Chaplin plays and dances with the balloon globe !!!

NO strike on North Korea..to big of a pie to swallow ..learnt a lesson in Vietnam..better off striking little silly Muslim states who have no power and no Friends.like China..or Russia .or any of the European nations ..that's where we look good ..we can really score points ..plus a big plus..lots and lots of oil we can steal from them ..that's where it's worth our while to strike..North Korea..it's a no no other wise we will need plenty of body bags...

I don't think he will strike. Too many soldiers invested in Iraq and Afghanistan. I doubt he really fears N. Korea. Iran will be the next target. Securing the oil is his biggest concern.

Your assumption that he is "calling all the shots" may not be correct. I think he is just a front man.

NK is just a distraction but there are more war profits and brownie points to be had (from the zionist lobby) for him to abandon the MAD doctrine and go for NUTs with Iran and Syria. The spin machine is having a harder time making the "justification" this time but the dogs of war are already loose.

We can always hope that sanity will prevail but don't hold your breath...

He's a dangeropus man who will end up killing us all to protect the supply of oil, trainers and electronics they need - just who pulls that puppets strings eh ?
How come men with the literate 'sense' and social 'graces' of gibbons (no disrespect to gibbons) can end up talking such crap !

France tested in the Pacific, no-one objected, no-one listened to locals.
England tested in Australia, no-one objected, no-one listened to locals.
America, Russia, China, etc etc
Big countries need to flex their muscles, Korea is doing just that - no more and no less than the rest.
America should just for once shut up and get its own act in order !!
