how can this problem be tackled?

Friction is the main reason for dark underarms. Also, some chemicals in deodorants and perfumes trigger darkness. I suggest you stop using chemicals there, and look for something like alum to tackle body odour.
Also, shaving could darken underarms. However, since dark underarms are very common, it could be overlooked. Yet, if yours are unusually dark, then opt for waxing instead of shaving.

Dark Underarms can be a result of shaving, or using deos that don't suit your skin type.

Try to buy a deo that has 'skin lightening' or something to that effect, written on it. It should help lighten the skin under your arms to a certain degree.

try switching to waxing if you're shaving currently. Or try laser.

Your shirt dye wearing off due to wetness? Just use a soap and a scrub brush in shower instead of a wash cloth or poof.

u r using cheap quality deodrants !!! stop using those cheap 1s !! go for branded 1s !!!!! dats gonna help u !!!

use bleach if u hav 2 wear a sleeveless top/dress !!!
