but cannot take care of a single one of them? The kids are all on welfare and have 10 different dads and all the mom cares about is getting her check and going out to the bar to find another man. Children's services doesn't do ****. Don't say it isn't my business because the kids grow up and are robbing and killing everyone cause their mama was a ho! I thought women had a maternal instinct that made them want to be a good parent so how is this lifestyle benefitting anyone but themselves?

To juicie: I never said children of large families commit crimes. I said mothers on welfare who have 8 kids with all different men (ia lot of times don't even know who the father is) and continue to get pregnant so they can stay on welfare are the problem, and sweetie I know alot of women who do this. Maybe you live in some high class society where you don't see these problems so don't twist my words around!

Juicie you need to go back to school. Take a deep breath and read the question again slowly. If you had half a brain, you would be able to see that I WAS TALKING ABOUT SINGLE WOMEN ON WELFARE WHO HAD MULTIPLE FATHERS! My mom, rather parents, did not fall under that category because all my siblings have the same father and never have been on welfare. Are you really that dense or is it the meds your on?

I don't think it's been scientifically proven that these kids will all grow up to kill and steal. I do agree that they do have a high probability of such a fate. As for these women, I figure they do this "pop a baby" thing so that they don't have to work. I agree with you with being upset and it IS our business because all the money from welfare comes out of our hard earned paychecks. If it were up to me, I'd have these women's tubes tied and only until they can prove they can sustain themselves and a child will I allow them to reproduce. Not just them, also racist people, stupid people, and the list can go forever.... maybe the government should make us apply for a child permit. Who knows.....

I know what your saying, i can see that you are not stereotyping every mum who has more than 3 kids, just the ones who don't give a toss about them. We have alot of people like that here in England, just can't be bothered working and would rather their kids dragged themselves up by mixing with the wrong crowd, while they go and get high.
I have three kids myself and am 28 next month they are all to the same dad who is almost 36. i run my own business and work from home so i get to see my kids all the time, and make sure that they are growing up into great people.

My state has a limit of two children that they will pay for. We also have a lifetime limit of five years on welfare for an adult with children (there is no assistance for folks without children).
Personally, I feel that if someone cannot support their children for five years that the children should be taken away and adopted to someone who will be responsible for them. And I feel that welfare should be a loan (interest deferred for the first five years) that should be paid back to the state. Perhaps if people knew that it was just a loan rather than a gift, then they would have more incentive not to use it unnecessarily.
I don't think that all women have a maternal instinct, nor do I think that all adults are fit to be parents.

Where do you get this s*** from? Are you saying that only people who come from a big family commit crimes? I am the mother of five, all but one of my children is by the same man. I have never been on welfare. My husband and I are raising them to be law abiding citizens and all of my children are excellent students because we stress the importance of education and hard work. My 3 teenagers all have jobs, my son is only 13 and he went to the owner of a auto body shop in our neighborhood and asked if he could do odd jobs around his shop to earn money. We are an middle class family and my children are well taken care of. Not once did we tell him that he needed to get a job, he choose to do it on his own. He knows has a savings account that contains about $900. So to your ignorant comment I say not all women that have a large family are wh*res, with many different fathers for their children. Don't assume anything about people unless you know the facts. I also know a family of nine and the children all have one father and they have never been on welfare. The parents are hardworking people who currently have 1 child studying to be a pediatrician, one in Iraq and 2 about to graduate and go to college. The others are still in school they range in ages 5-23. You know, they say birds of a feather flock together gow do you know that they are in the bar and getting a check if you aren't doing the same thinng? I heard that a lot of girls/teenagers in America have children. We don't have that kind of problem, because only few have children very young. We have different problem. People don't want to have children or they have it when they are almost old (28-39 years old).
