Well people find your email address and sell them on the black market for money and then loads of people will send you spam!

First of all never write your credit card number on mail.
few days ago i got mail from some Internet lottery saying they I am the winner of 1 000 000 US Dollars and the sent me some document I should fill.On that document i suppose to write my account number in bank or credit card number.And if you give them these numbers, your account will become empty in no time.don't write home addresses too.It is all fake

spammers will typically collect large amount of email addresses which they then sell on. But you really have to have a LARGE amount.
