I am puzzled. What can you say about a man in his 50s who has worked hard to get a church and become a ministe

Recently I found on My Space his first and last name,his town of residence and that he is married,details about where his church is located, Then he asked for oral sex. This man is not stupid. I would conclude that he has mental problems. He is a friend, I would like to help him. anybody qualified to answer this?

Other than telling him that you found his solicitation offensive, you are probably best off to break off contact.
I think his problem lies further south.

If this is an actual statement from him then the best thing to do is report it to the police. They are the ones to handle this.

As far as the church and stuff it may be jus that he has always wanted a position of power over people. Being the minister of his own church gave him that. Now he feels that he can get people to do what ever he wants.

I would tell him I found his site on My Space and look for a reaction. You need to make sure it is his site, surely it would be easy to sabotage a good name like this. Be sure, first. If you find it is true I would ask him why, if your friendship is strong ask how you can help him, let him know you do not approve. If you go to that church maybe you should ask for a non-spoken prayer request every service.

He's not mental, just horny. He's hardly the first clergyman to abuse his position for the sake of sex. I don't know how you help him, guys like that are not noted for their honesty and sincerity, so it's kind of hard to tell if they have changed their ways.
