Sounds like her toilet is plumbed wrong. Call a plumber and have her toilet re-plumbed with a cold water feed and not a hot water feed.

Unless of course you mean hot FLASHES...

Then I don't know. Have her go see her ob/gyn

At the age of 33, your friend is apt to be experiencing what's called perimenopause, which is the lead-in toward menopause. Most woman start experiencing this in their 40s, but hormones are tricky little monsters that have a mind of their own at times. It might be that her current cycle is a bit wonky, and that it might sort itself out during her next cycle. If not, tell her to have a chat with her doctor who can perform a simple blood test to check her hormone levels. Dropping oestrogen levels are the most common cause of hot flushes, and that imbalance can be easily restored right again. In the meantime, tell her to dress in light layers that she can easily remove when a hot flush happens; it will help her cool down more quickly.

Hello, I also experience hot flushes at certain times of the month. My periods seem more extreem than they were when I was younger so I put it down to an age thing. I have found that sage (tea or tablets) can really help. Might be worth a visit to her GP just for an MOT. I am mid-thirties and this started about 2 years ago for me.

She could have an infection of some sort that is causing this or possibly diabetes or even as you say it could be premature menopause. The important thing is that you encourage her to visit with her GP asap and he will test anf find the root cause. You are a good friend to make this enquiry for her. God Bless.

33 is way under the normal age for menopause (45-56y). Either this is premature menopause or she has some other medical condition - I have see hypertension and hyperthyroidism both present like this. In any case she should see her GP for a diagnosis.

Americans do not all think they rule the planet. I personally would not want to rule the planet.
