It is not possible in the case of a building built with steel beams as the infrastructure. Steel cannot be weakened considerably or melted by the low temperature fires of office equipment and supplies or beds and furniture that are fire combustibles in tall buildings.

Yes, just as in the case of the Twin Tower. The fire was so hot tht it melted away the steel beams supporting it causing it to collapse.
