i sooooo want him back in the english sqaud before it is too late.....i think he can get back england's lost glory atleast in euro 2008 even if he retires by the next world cup...

Beckham should definately be in the squad, he's an exceptional talent who can win a game with one piece of magic, his crossin ability is second to none and when we're playing with a beanpole striker in Crouch we need a player of Beckhams accuracy to provide the service from the wide areas. Stevie Gerrard should be playing through the middle, I think Beckham has been made the scapegoat because there desperate for Lampard and Gerrard to play in the same team it obviously aint workin with them both in the centre.

well the team performed a damn site better with him in it the thing is he can and has many times changed the way the game is going with one kick and sides fear that and are afraid to give free kicks away is there any one else in the side who can do that apart from rooney who is having a bad spell and i love rooney im a manc fan so im not havin a pop at him he will come good ive no doubt but at the moment england seem to be missing that beckham touch i think mcclaren was to hasty in dropping him and should have waited a little bit after all beckham used to play in the same team that steve was no 2 at is there some sort of bad history between them i wonder england need him at the moment and theres no disguising that is there

i never wanted him dropped he does more than pass he get the team going he was captain marvel rember the games hes guided england past greece to get us in euro 2000 he has passion and even tho i think footballers are over paid he is worth every penny he always gives 100% england the other night looked liked they did not care he will always have ago at the players and praise them i didnt c terry doing this

I like Beckham but, he has no self will...everything he does is through an agent or his wife Victoria.
Football is more of a business than the sport we once had a lot of respect for.

Not the best player ever but he did bring charm to the england side. No doubt his golden free kicks are priceless. I thikn he acts as a binding force to the team. I would love to have him back in the team of england............I dont care if england win or lose........all i am looking forward to is a good tournament...and beckham sure adds spice to it.

I'm with Dirty Rob. He was past his best years ago. Good at free kicks, and not always even those. He should have been a much better midfielder than he was but towards the end of his England career he was punting it anywhere. England needs more than an overpaid, over-tattooed clothes horse to get anywhere in world football again. He can stay in Spain.

If any girls want beckham back cos of looks, don't watch football. simply search for beckhams pic on yahoo or google, then print it out and stick then to your bedroom wall.

The only thing beckham is good at is dead ball situations. He is average at everything else and doesn't deserve his place in the team. There are much better players out there.
