it will all depend on if you pay taxes with each paycheck. I had kids at that age, so I automacticly recieved child income tax- don't recieve it nomore since they are old enough to clam their own tax refund. If you had taxes taken out in each of your paychecks you should have to pay taxes at the end of the year, you should recieve some sort of tax refund. Hope that helped.

Are these people not reading your question?
She lives in NORTH CAROLINA for God sake & she said she claimed ONE! (are they doing this on purpose?)

P.S. Yes you should get some back but not much. If you would have claimed zero you would get back considerably more. For an exact figure I'd have to see the numbers.

Honestly I think a lot of factors are involved. But most importantly...how much have you already paid in this year? Can you compare it to last year or maybe a friends tax return? I am sorry I am not more help....usually my husband does that stuff. But we usually always end up having to pay in. His income isn't much more than yours......GL

u will pay some federal taxes - what u get back depends on what u claim & if u have any deductibles - go to your local irs bldg to p/u a copy of 1040ez & 1040 books to get an idea (use your current paystub to figure)

You have to pay taxes...you'll get a lot back only if you file that way. You can file to have more or less taken out of your paycheck.

I don't know where do you reside, I think you have to pay tax in general unless you earn from a charity or personal inheritance.

That depends on whether you have any dependants or not and whether you have any deductions you can claim. Are you head of the house-hold?
