I moved there in response to a call as a missionary from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I'm not sure that's what you mean exactly...

Ontario really has it all, from my point of view. If you're living in the urban areas of Toronto, Ottawa, and other cities "down east", you are living in some of the most cosmopolitan and diverse places in the world.

If you're living in northwestern Ontario, you have the beautiful lakes, endless forests, and incredible rivers to look at right in your backyard.

It's simply a great place. Don't worry about the cold; just wear a hat (and more clothing if necessary) and you'll be fine.
