I just got excepted for an apartment today! and I am 20, They asked me for: two pieces of ID(picture), pay stubs, reverences(family friends),first and last months rent, they called my last two landlords (in your case they would call your parents) and they also do a credit repot on you.....if you dont make a curtain amount of money per year (they said 30,000) then you need a co-signer...Thats about it..... It also depends on the place you rent from.... Once I rented an apartment and they didnt ask for anything but first and last.... hopefully everything works out for you! as long as you have good credit(no credit is better then bad credit) and as long as your last landlords dont have anything bad to say about you then it should be fine! :)
