I have had this MAC giftcard (approx $25) and I am SOOO bad at making color choices when it comes to eye makeup. Anyone knows their mac cosmetics have suggestions of what i should spend it on? I have chocolate brown asian eyes, warm beige skin and dark brown hair if that helps. Thanx!

Hey girl! I work for mac and i'd suggest you pick up two eyeshadows. You're going to want to go with either "Woodwinked"(brownish) or "Amber Lights"(goldish) as your contour color and something like "Vanilla"(more white) or "Mylar"(more pink) as your highlight. I'd also reccomend the "Smoulder" eyeliner. It will bump up the cost to 40 bucks grand total, but it's totally worth it.
If you want a more natural look go with the first combo, the woodwinked and vanilla. It will give you enough shine for a bit of glam but nothing too crazy
if you want it to look like you're wearing makeup go with the amber lights and mylar. They're both sparklier and more fun! line the top of the eye with the smoulder and cat it out just a touch, and get it as close to the lash as possible, apply the first color to the actual lid of the eye and accent the underbrow with the seccond color and you'll look great! Ask the people at MAC to show you how. They should be helpful!

All MAC stuff is great! Use a brown, violet or silver gray above your eye and a little higher to create a fake crease. Use a eyelash curler to open your eyes more and use black mascara. Below eyebrow highlite with a shimmer light pink or white then smudge. If you use eyeliner use black, violet, or sapphire blue. Eyebrows should be groomed by a professional and kept up every other day. After all is done take a rosy blush and sweep over eye area to make eyes look brighter. Get a cover stick for circles or blemishes in light to medium. Ask the MAC people when you get there and they also will help. Good luck sweetie!

Lucky you with your girftcard! If you go into MAC they will try lots of different colours on you & see what suits you best. HOWEVER i have done makeup in college and if you have brown eyes you need something bright to bring them out eg: Green ...orange (!!)your supposed to pick a colour 'opposite' to your eye colour...mine are hazel so they always suggest i use orange but it's a bit bright for me, so make sure you actually like what they try on you!!......but i think you can get away with most colours with your skin colour ..... just avoid pink/purple unless you want to make a big statement!! Hope that helps a bit

get the eyeshadow in gold and brown tones. they have some really cool copper tones at mac. then use a white under the eyebrow to highlite the eye and the eyeshadow. use there eye shadow brushes they're the best. ask the girls there and they will get you started. but the only stuff i've thought was worth it at mac was there eyeshadow which is very dramatic and the brushes to put it on with.

I genuinely would not advise using a beginning up. a reliable powder might additionally out your pores and skin tone without being too heavy or cakey and could pass away you looking the main organic. utility quite determines what style of coverage you will get. in case you utilize a sponge, you will get a fuller coverage, a broom provide you with easy coverage. in case you have any actual components of challenge or challenge-free blemishes a concealer is often a super ingredient to have on your makeup bag. a splash mascara will quite open up your eyes and lead them to pop. i could stay removed from something that advertises super, ambitious lashes. discover one which will mentions organic looking lashes. different than that, basically a splash of gloss ought to end you off. in case you have an pastime in eyeshadow in any respect i could commence off with neutrals. shop it basic and fairly.

put white eyeshadow in inner corners of your eyes and under eyebrows. it will open your eyes and they will look bigger. use green eye shadows for brown eyes. lighter green right above your eyelashes, and darker right between lighter green and white, that you have put under your eyebrows. use dark brown (black) eye pencil to round your eyes and black mascara. that should do it! :)
