My buddy just left for boot camp. Since he left I have been talking to his girl friend on the phone a lot. Is that wrong?
I am a guy this is my sis thing cause I dont have one.

As long as it doesn't escalate to something more, consider it consoling her.
Tell him that you talk to her and check up on her.
He'll probably appreciate it.
But if you have feelings for her, or she for you, stop talking to her.

Well, it doesn't sound wrong right now. But what if she gets lonely and invites you over? You go? What happens...? She may become dependant! Girls do stupid stuff when they're lonely or feeling a bit down. Not say she's silly to talk to you - but she may want some company and then regret it... You may end up losing your friend over this. Your descision... it's not wrong if you just talk about... like your mate - who she misses. But just don't let it go anywhere...!

Don't think this is a good idea, she may be lonely and just needs some company, but things might get out of control, would you be prepared to loose your friend over her and if she did cheat on her b/f, she would easily cheat on you, then you will have lost two friends.
