Science will probably eventually come up with some explanations for things that today cannot be explained. There are probably still some mathematical equations that will provide "last puzzle pieces" for many subjects which today are not yet provable. Someone has to figure out such equations, though.

There is a good chance that many things people today accept without scientific explanation may become things people no longer accept.

At the same time, some things may just have to be a matter of who believes what here on Earth - and once people aren't here any longer they'll either just be gone or else figure out that there's something after this life.

And finally, some "spooky-type" things are a matter of someone's wanting to believe something or even a matter of someone's mental illness.

A scientific mind will most likely reserve judgment on whether to buy into some of the things you mentioned until that "last puzzle piece" can complete the picture. Some people believe we have one life here on Earth and should be spending out efforts and time thinking about what goes on in this life and trying to solve problems or even just enjoy what is beautiful on Earth.

If the things you mentioned are real we will all have time to get an understanding of them once we leave this life. If they're not real, imagine what a waste of a life and mind it is to spend too much time thinking about what doesn't exist.

Science "Can't" Answer Everything. Dreams And Emotion Can't Be Created By Science, So It Can't Be Applied To It. Science Is Used As An Excuse For People To Feel They Understand The Unknown.(yet after all these years, we still know almost nothing.....just the enhanced basics......). Next Time, Question The Answers. Not Everything Your Told Is True.

Hello Daniel O,

Regarding palmistry ....

I0 Years of my live I have been focussed on studying this field + I have executed some research projects by means of scientific principles. An overview:

http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/10jaarEngels.htm
http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/overzichtEngels.htm

For example: regarding the question "why do people believe in palm-readings provided by palm-readers?" - from a scienctific point of view one can say that people are inclined to identify with vague personality description (in certain circumstances) - this is more well know as the Barnum-effect (or: Forer-effect).

One of my research studies focussed on this effect in palmistry-students! You can read the details this at:

http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/psychoEngels.htm

(5th chapter: The feedback of handanalysis students - the handanalysis students experiment -)

Best wishes from The Netherlands, Martijn.

PS. Many psychologists are aware that the Barnum-effect plays a significant part in many PSEUDOSCIENCES.

How what? How do you explain them? If I or anyone knew that then it would be science explaining it too.

The best way to think of it is Faith...

You may go to my 360 and in one of my photo albums there are some pics of ghosts that are in my home.

Then scroll down the page and on the lower left side are links to an investigation done at my house.

Science can theorize lots of things. There are those philosophies that cannot be challenged (or calculated). Notice they don't delve into the areas where it's based on personal experience. The scientists are trained to only venture into the realm of 'measurable' statistics.

You don't publish a paper that will condemn you in your community. That's their worth. And pretty much all they are about.

Your'e right. For humans, Science has to be ultimate problem-solver. But we must acknowledge the fact that we were created. Thats why we cant answer everything. We must remember that the Universe was created before us. We were the best, saved for last!

Science may never be able to explain everything. If there are an infinite number of permutations of elements, and maybe an infinite number of dimensions that we can't even conceive of, let alone tap into, we'll never know everything.

According to those who believe in science, logic and reasoning...

just because something is not explainable at the present time, it doesn't mean it can't be explained.

Peace.
