He's singing "Have your ever seen the rain" right now on Leno. I think he has a whole album where he butchers good songs. I think he needs to go away.

He did a few good songs a long, long time ago. I am amazed at all these geriatric performers from the middle of the last century being still able to manage more than a harsh raspy croack.

I was wondering while watching Leno what the H e l l was he thinking...
Don't know if he is getting senile or what, he just looked like he is getting on up there in age & needs to act it.
All those over the hill, trying to act like a teenager singers/rockers (Stewart, Jagger, Kiss, Tyler, Osbourne, Bolton, etc.)
I used to love Rod Stewart (in the 70's). LOL, but he has gotten annoying.
Those younger women are only trying to secure a future by having his kid(s).
Didn't he learn anything from McCartney's mistakes? wink wink
He needs to retire the mousse & hair dye.
His antics on Leno reminded me of Farrah's spaced out Letterman appearance a few years back. LOL

He's a fabulous singer. Why would he need to go away? He sings beautiful classic songs, and his regular music in his own wonderful way. I suppose it's all a matter of preference----and I really PREFER Rod Stewart!! I don't think he butchers ANY songs.

Rod Stewart has some brilliant songs. And Live, he knows how to work a crowd, the man is a total professional performer. A lot of young performers could learn a lot from watching him. Besides, Maggie May is one of the greatest songs of all time.
