now that north koreas nuclear test has proven to be a dud, but their intentions are all to clear, should the world community just do like the Israelis did in lebanon, bomb the place back into the stone age, and then walk away and let south korea finnish the job, if they choose so?

The North Korean leadership would rather feed it's military forces and starve their people to death.
If the US or the UN can totally eliminate the North Korean Command and Control at the same time provide food and supplies to the North Korean people...then go for it.
What good would destroying a country do? It doesn't benefit anyone.

no, the last thing the world needs is another war, don't give north korea an excuse to use their nuclear weapons, duds or not. nuclear weapons are a complete and utter waste of tax payers money and if nobody had them, nobody else would need them, yes i am a pacifist and yes i am idealistic but why does the world need weapons? think of what a better place it would be with out them. i know i got a bit off topic, but i disagree with the eye for an eye mentality, all it leads to is the deaths of more innocent civilians and lets be honest, people will never ever learn we are doomed to repeat history and by dropping bombs on north korea that is all the world would be doing.

N Korea is no baby in terms of their military. It's like 4th largest military. Plus if they really have working nuke they gona mess up someone else too before they go down. You have to remember they've actually never made direct threat to anybody yet, but claims others are out to get them.

As much as I'd like to say "hell ya" it's not fair to people who live there who might oppose what's going on. I don't know what the best response to this issue would be but I hope we just mind our business and leave it to the U.N. Iraq is more than enough trouble for us right now.

Why should WE (U.S.) be able to whatever the hell we want and uother countries not. I agree that they should be stopped, but then so should EVERYONE, EVEN US...no special treatment when it comes to ruining the Earth
