Most dance studios are drafty and cold. Arthritis can set in while dancers are still in their 20s. Leg warmers keep body heat in and make the legs more limber, while leaving the feet free of stockings.

i take advantage of legwarmers in all of my training and that i dance 6 days in line with week 5 hours an afternoon and not proceeding to be cocky yet i'm useful and that i've got one comps and for comps i placed on a comstume yet at college if u have a gown code stick to it yet dont be afraid to characteristic legwarmers

one of the most important things in dance, and any sport i guess, is to keep your muscles as warm as possible. cause if you muscles aren't warmed up then the can tear and you can get injuries really easy. that's why tights are required and legwarmers are used alot, to keep your muscles warm. especially in winter

Dance studios are freezing!. first a warm up and stretch is needed to loosen the muscles. We wear leg warmers to keep the heat on our muscles. cold muscles can easily cause injuries.

dancers have to practice for a long time, which may result in unregulated flow of blood in their legs. this may cause vericose veins later on. to avoid this they wear legwarmers.

warms the leg muscles and makes them less tense so they stretch better. When you go outside as its snowing, most people get very stiff because their muscle are cold. But if you go into a hot tub your muscles relax because they are warm.....so leg warmer help relax the muscles.

in the winter, it gets cold and dancers can't wear sweatpants and sweatshirts, so we wear legwarmers
plus they keep your leg muscles warm
