Bush has the IQ of plain bread. About 4.
Toasted bread has already 5.

That guy is dumb as a rock, thinking he is actually smart. They picked him not to be the president, but the puppetdent. They knew that their goals and the means to reach their goals are criminal to the core. The president, as the ultimately responsible, would be the one taking the fall if the gooey brown mass should hit the fan. So they chose someone dumb enough to buy into the deal. That is all. They are not calling him George W(orthless) Bush for nothing.

I think the fact that his family is loaded and his father was the president not too long ago had a little something to do with it. I don't know why on earth anyone would say Bush is brilliant.
I'm interested to know how it takes brilliance to become the President? It's not like he has to pass any kind of IQ test to become President. I heard he was a C average student. That's hardly brilliant. lol

Of course he is stupid! That's not the issue anymore. The issue is how Americans could be so implicated in such a historical development. They actually elected him - a person without the parrot's ability to say the words "new" and "clear" in succession.

History will indict this generation for its fatuity and irresponsibility, just as it indicts the generation that elected Richard Nixion and the generation that elected Millard Fillmore.

Leadership is not always "brilliant" but always ambitious. This same (brilliance) myth is prevalent regarding success in business. Any of us could potentially be rich, but there are few that are willing to agree to the unscrupulousness necessary to get there.

I've chosen to live without great wealth, not because I am less "brilliant" than others (I graduated college with high honors, and my IQ is over 130 - if somebody is looking for puny, imbecilic credentials), but because I am more committed to decency and integrity and self-respect.

Actually, I do agree with this statement. Yes, I know that means I'm giving Bill Clinton credit for having a brilliant mind. He does. He just doesn't use his as wisely as Pres. Bush.

I wouldn't call him brilliant but yes it takes a certain level of intelligence to run this country contrary to what most people think. I know that I, myself could not run this country. I don't have the education or skill to do so. Everyone makes poor decisions, that's how we learn. There are still people who agree with him and bitching about him isn't going to get anyone anywhere. I really don't care one way or the other... I'm just irritated with the incessant complaining about him...he only has two more years...deal with it.

Stupid, he ain't. You don't become President of the United States ie, the most powerful man on the planet via stupidity. Though, his inability to speak eloquently like Clinton and Reagan doesn't help matters. We all know how downright dopey Reagan could be at times, and Clinton, well, he could recite "itsy-bitsy-spider" and it'd sound like poetry in motion.

He's dumb but he's not stupid. And not necessarily does the best person for the job become president of any country.

You said it. That was my answer. You don't get to president by being stupid. He's not the best commander of the English language, though.

I agree he isn't stupid. However, for the task that he is appointed to do, he needs a bit more.
