doing world and can't find the meanig of this "royal law of the land"

As far as I know the only "royal law of the land" is an Islamic law. Many people who study this say this is what allows them to mutilate or slay woman and children.

Now the U.S. Constitution is the "supreme law," but, of course, just of the United States.

I doubt if you will find a true definition of "royal law of the land," on line. Normally a search just results in a few articles written by everyday people, giving their opinions. You could try doing a search of Islamic law.
