this was an old kinda scary movie about these little killer ball things...not critters...there was a scene in one of the movies where the guy gets turned into a potato on his couch...its old..and there are a few sequels, the newer one had a scene with a trailer overflowing with popcorn!!! 1st to get it right 10 points!!

its not ghoulies or gremlins...it wasnt popular like that....its so hard to explain cuz i only remember bits and pieces, but it was defibitly early 80's they were like monster things....in the later sequel(later being like 1990) there was a town they were told to go to and later in the movie they realized the name of the town was some scary word spelled backwards.....

The movie you're thinking about is actually the sequel Troll 2. It has the famous line "Nilbog, It's goblin spelled backwards!". Probably the worst movie ever made.

Phantasm.... and it had 2 or 3 terrible sequels. The balls? Where they silver in color, flew through the mortuary and had 3 blades that stuck out and rammed into the heads of their targets? And a tall old longish gray hair was the bad guy?
