urine tests are not always accurate. trust me i know. when i had my first child, the hpt said positive but the urine test from the drs office said negative. and this was 2 wks after my missed period. after i missed my 2nd period the dr put me in the hospital for what he said was a massive bladder infection. the hospital urine test also said negative. after i got out of the hospital i went to plan parenthood and requested a blood test which was positive, and i was 12wks along. the medication i was taking for my epilepsy had falsified the ketones in my urine. tell your dr that you want a blood test. that is the best way to go. if you are not i can't tell you what is wrong, but your dr may have some ideas. good luck

I have the same problem. My period wat late for 10 days. So I did a 3 home pregnancy test and it was negative. So I ask a round the say the home pregnancy test thus not work with all the women we must go for a blood test and that wil show right a way. But also some times is it to soon to show on the home pregnancy test. So I will say to you what another week or 2 and do another test and if then again negative do a blood test. Good Luck hope if you are pregnant.

Urine tests should read by now but your HCG levels might be low. You could definately be pregnant. I suggest going for a blood test which will determine whther you are in fact pregnancy - this is 99.9% accurate and way better than a pregnancy test xx

Did you take more than one test? Did you read the instructions properly and are the tests really old or anything? Sometimes you can miss a period or it can be late. There are a lot of reasons this can happen, stress, travel, low weight, onset of menopause, medical problem, it could be a lot of things. You should consult a gynecologist.

Any urine test (including those done in a doctor's office) can show a false negative result, therefore you now need a blood test.

It's possible to still be positive but unlikely... Best bet is to get a blood test done by an ob/gyn. That's the most accurate way to determine if you're pregnant.

Normally, you will know if you are pregnant when you're 15 days delayed,IF, your period is regular, but if your irregular thats another sign of the abnormality of your cycle.Try to check again after 5 more days...Goodluck!

If you think you are, behave as if you are(no smoking, drinking, lay off the caffine), despite the test. I've had several "False alarms" even lactated, because I *wanted* to be preggers so bad... if you're not, as soon as you stop stressing about it, you'll start bleeding

Diet, Health, and weather can make you cycle behave un-normal. You may have move out of the area you are used to. You may have been sick or your meals are different from what you have been eating. Also you may have been stressed or thinking so much all these may have contributed to this change.
