I set it to what they want in Yahoo Beta and I'm getting a headace reading such small print. The toolbar shows more and the picture is clearer but I don't know if it's worth it.Maybe there is other adjustments but I don't know them. I originally had it set at 640X480.Is there a compromise?

When a web site suggests a screen resolution, it is usually because they adjusted the width of the contents to be less than the resolution itself so you see everything horizontally without scrolling right, which is more than annoying.

Most web sites today are designed for a minimum resolution of 800x600. You should consider buying a bigger monitor so that things appear bigger in a more useful resolution.

You can adjust the text size with your browser settings.

In Firefox, go View > Text Size.
