You should avoid all fish containing Mercury! Avoid the Albacore Tuna, go for the light stuff. Only eat 8 ounces of Tuna per week. :)

Tuna (IN WATER) is VERY healthy and "safe" for pregnant women. It's protein and poultry! (unless you are allergic to some fish, then, must talk with Doctor!)However you don't need a lot of it. I always had a tuna-fish sandwhich about once a week or every other week when I was pregnant both times.(not a big fish fan like some people are very much)

I hope so, I have craved tuna and as I haven't heard that it was unsafe eat it a few times a month. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and everything with my pregnancy is going very well, so it hasn't hurt me.

You should keep away from tuna as it is high in mercury which is not safe for your unborn baby.
