I smacked my right thumb nail really hard... and part of my nail split and I see a thin white line from the splitting point of my nail to the roots. I simply cut out the splitting part.. hoping to let it grow out... but it continues to grow out splitting at the same spot. My first question would be: will it be possible for the nail to grow out as one piece?? Is there any products or methods that could help?

This is one of the most difficult conditions to correct and can be caused by several things, but generally, extremely dry, dehydrated nails will split. Just think of a piece of wood. Without moisture, it splinters and splits apart. Moisture is like glue that fills in the spaces between the nail cells to keep them together.

Use a moisturizing nail crème or olive oil or one of Nutra Nail's 5 to 7 Growth treatments, to keep nails well conditioned. Massage any one of these products into the nails and cuticles as often as possible, especially after washing hands. Other culprits that can cause splitting nails are drug reaction, a condition called lichen planus (red itchy bumps), and in rare cases iron and protein deficiencies. Some diseases can also cause nails to split, like patella syndrome.

A severe trauma to the nail can also cause nails to split, and if the nail bed is permanently damaged, it will never be eliminated. The best you can do in this case is to camouflage it by filling the split with nail glue, powder, and nail wrap, then file it down to a smooth finish. In any case always see your doctor to get a professional opinion and advise on treatment if a nail condition looks like it is more than just an external problem.

Yeah, super glue. You could also get a fake nail put over your nail as a sort of bandaid while the split grows out. That may be the most effective way. :)

Superglue or check the fingernail aisle in the store you shop in. There are some clear coat polishes for strengthening nails and correcting splits.

Try to be patient. Let it grow for a week and then cut it after taking a bath. Also, try to take food supplement rich in calcium. Your finger nails are your indicator whether you lack calcium in your body. Drink a glass of milk everyday for more calcium.

Many of the causes of erectile dysfunction are actually psychological. Understand that this is not the same as saying that it’s all in your head, because it’s not. Learn here https://tr.im/08e8L

Psychological issues can easily lead to a variety of very real physical ailments. If that surprises you, it shouldn’t. Stress can lead to heart disease, so why can’t other psychological issues lead to ED? It’s a pretty common, fairly well understood phenomenon.

Stress is, in fact, one of the leading causes of ED, which makes it a particularly nasty condition (because it also can lead to heart troubles, so it hits you twice). Long before stress kills you though, it will impact your sex life in a major, and entirely negative way.

These aren't guarantees, but they help:

File your nails instead of using a clipper.
Polish the affected one with "top coat" or a nail strengthening clear polish.

Good luck!
