Sound like it could possibly be Bell's palsy which is a paralysis or weakness of the muscles on one side of the face. This condition afflicts around one in every 2000 people every year, with young adults of either sex more susceptible for unknown reasons.
Bell's palsy is characterised by a droopy appearance around the eye and mouth on the affected side of the face. It is caused by the swelling of the facial nerve at the point where it passes through a small opening in the skull. The pinched and swollen nerve becomes inflamed, which interferes with the nerve's proper functioning.
The reason for the swelling is unknown, although infection or autoimmune responses are suspected. Bell's palsy usually resolves by itself within a few months.
Treatment options to alleviate some of the symptoms may include medications such as corticosteroids. A person has a less than one in 10 chance of experiencing a subsequent bout of Bell's palsy.
The symptoms of Bell's palsy include:
Paralysis or weakness on one side of the face
Numbness
Pain around the ear
The eye can't fully close
The mouth droops
The face feels heavy
Foods taste slightly different.

Numbness can be caused by a number of things. First off, have you had your tongue pierced recently, or have you visited a chiropractor?
A tongue piercing can sometimes damage nerves, but once they heal, the feeling should come back. And if you haven't been to a chiropractor lately, then its possable that something in your back or neck is out of place, and is pinching a nerve.

It can be a wide range of things, from a bad tooth(yeah I didn't believe that either first time I heard it) to allergy's, allergic reactions, pinched nerves to the relay bad ones Cerebral degenerative conditions, I would ask a Doctor, they had to spend all that cash on school for more than hand writing lesions.

go to the hospital... It's very possibly you're having a stroke... please do not take this lightly... It could very likely be one, and the sooner you get to a facility, the better., They can administer thrombolitics if needed. those are to stop clots from forming, ao no tissue is damaged!! GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! I feel this is what is needed!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
