Jordan was a better shooter than Kobe. Kobe still gets his points but for a 30 point night he will have taken almost 50 shots ( thats shooting for a 100 points or more). When Jordan was not feeling the shot he would rely on his other skills to take over the game.

As noted, neither of them were great percentage shooters... Jordan was a little better, percentage wise, but Kobe actually has more range on his short than Jordan did... Jordan was never a good 3 point shooter (didn't really HAVE to be), but they both mastered the medium range jump shot from 12-18 feet...
Jordan had 4 straight years at the beginning of his career of shooting UNDER 20% from 3 pt land... Bryant was never THAT bad...
Jordan also scored an all time record low FIVE points the first and only time he competed in a 3 pt contest at the all star game. The worst performance ever.
Jordan was a better shooter from normal spots on the floor, throughout his career... Kobe is better from long range.

Overall Jordan can beat Kobe in any category....Jordan will always be the best no matter what Kobe does.....Even if Kobe scores a 100 points that is not enough to match the game and the class Jordan has

I would say MJ is a better shooter then Kobe. Kobe when he takes over a game does take some wild shots and MJ didn't do that. Kobe is a great shooter i'm not knocking him. Kobe though has a ways to go to become a great of shooter as MJ is.

Kobe is the closest thing to Jordan that we'll ever get...enjoy it..but he still isnt Jordan. The thing that separated Jordan and Kobe from the rest though, their defensive skills. Kobe and Jordan were both GREAT defenders unlike your Lebron James...Wade is on his way too...

Its perplexing to evaluate statistically because of fact Drik is 7 ft tall, he gets various trouble-free photos interior the paint and which will develop his share, he can shoot 3s and mid variety photos yet not greater desirable than Kobe or Mike. Mike become between the worst 3 factor shooters, he took various 3s and neglected maximum. i admire Jordan yet his pastime become mid variety and going to the ring. Kobe is a greater consistent shooter from the three and with regard to the comparable midrnage. i could opt for Jordan because of fact the excellent shooter of the three close with Kobe and Dirk trailing. do no longer pass via the numbers, dirk is a midsection you cant evaluate their stats.

neither of them are really good shooters.. they both take about 30 or more shots a game to get their points .. career statistics say jordan is a .497 FG% while bryant is .451 FG% .. so if you go by that jordan is the better shooter..

Kobe Bryant is a better shooter, more fundamentals. But Jordan was capable, or just godly at making impossible shots.
