This perverted society has instilled in its women a sense of self-destruction, masochism, and the mistaken belief that an outwardly confident jerk little bad boy can bring them happiness, and all that these men are capable of is deceitful and controlling sadistic relations. Any man who learns how to be like that can get all the women he wants. Sorry state of affairs.

I think most women like to have the "little jerk" in a guy. I guess it could relate to the confidence that guys have, being able to take control and stuff... and I guess that attracts most girls... but then again jerks can lie about themselves.

Because women are attracted to confident men and the jerks seem to have this quality in spades. It goes back to caveman times women wanted confident men 'cause confident man brought home more food or had more power.

Jerks have several things in common - they are confident. They don't learn new things (closed-minded). They may go MIA (missing in action) and they think they are entitled to continue being so chauvanistic. In short, they don't cherish you!

Whereas the goody-goody-2-shoes kind of guy is so predictable, women often lose interest in them. There's no surprises...hell, may be no romance.

Somehow, women tend to stick with men who give them heartaches. Look at it this way, would you be more heartbroken over a dead pet who's had been cured so many times of its dog fleas or a dead one who had no diseases at all? Ironic isn't it?
