For entomology I need to do an experiment on a cockroach I have been keeping. Any ideas of experiments I could do? thank you.

I think a less intensive test would be to do a comparitive test on "likes and dislikes" by providing different scents (plant leafs, or articificial stuff, like cardboard) and see what it is most attracted towards.

Cockroaches are also very sensitive to vibrations, so you might try doing some tests on that.

Oh, no need to do any experiments. Like in the "Survivors", you can remove their legs, feathers, antennae or even their heads and wash the remaining parts. The prepare a piece of tomato, cut it in 4 pieces. Dash it with iodized salt and mix it with cockroach and swallow it. It's rich in protein. Yakky but so yummy!!!!!! ;)

See how long it takes to find its way through a maze, with food at the far end. See if it "learns" to go through the maze more quickly after repeated trials.

You could race cockroaches and have people gamble on which roach wins.
